Hey hey friends!
This week was very chill . We had classes and study time as usual, but we only had one ministry day along with an adventure day. We had two new mentors join us and their names are Pietro and Vashti. Pietro taught us how important it is to read passages out loud so that we can understand what the author wants us to learn. Vashti went through what our strengths and weaknesses are so that as a team we could understand each other better and lend a hand in the areas that we lack. I am so grateful that bunch of us girls were able to go to the beach for some shopping and to watch the beautiful sunset. I also had a lot of fun this week learning some new line dances so that I can dance to them when I get back to Nashville! On Friday I got up bright and early to head to Florence and it did not disappoint!! The Piazza del Duomo, Giotto’s Campanile, Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, and the David were incredible to see. Then on Saturday we had our ministry day.. I was definitely trying to keep calm and slightly holding on for dear life as our tour guide drove very fast so that we could see the sights of Piombino. The scary drive was definitely worth it because we got to see the breathtaking Elba Island!!! After our little detour we passed out flyers inviting people in the city of Piombino to church and then had a lovely dinner hosted by the Ukrainian church that we were working with. It has been a huge blessing to be growing closer with the team and see the great hospitality culture in Italy. I hope each one of you is seeing Gods blessings and love in your life!
Blessings,

Bailey,
We are enjoying your shared travel & adventures.
Italy is such a beautiful country. I/we are so glad you have this opportunity to be there.
Summer has begun here, with (much) warmer days & heat staying into the evenings.
