Heyo! 

Last week was quite  busy with us leaving Pisa at 4:20 am to walk to the airport to catch our flight to Sicily. Upon arriving to Sicily, our host graciously brought us a bunch of Sicilian street food for us to try and then took us to mall to have an activity to do so we didn’t fall asleep!  Another fun challenge was thrown our way on Monday night with the power going out, so we cooked dinner by lightning the stove with candles. Tuesday we started classes by hiking and then learning how to pray for people. After our hike we headed to the pool and then had a special treat by having one of the local church deacons come make us delicious pasta! Wednesday was great because we got to go to a castle for class, eat delicious Sicilian street food for lunch, have a worship night at church and then end the day with some yummy pizza. Thursday class took place on the beach where we learned how to prophecy over each other. We then hopped in the water, played some beach volleyball and of course Spicy Uno! Thursday night also included an unexpected stop at the rock and roll festival nearby and it was a blast! Friday we had a relaxing day where we spoke encouragement over each other, played some fun pool games and had a delicious dinner at a cute little cafe. Saturday we had an excursion to downtown Catania to see the town and experience the culture. We also were super excited to get running water after not having it for 3 days! Lastly to end the night on Saturday we went back to the rock music festival and listened to some awesome cover bands while dancing with the whole crowd!
